2020 finalists announced

Twenty-four applicants across eight categories have been shortlisted for the 2020 SEAI Energy Awards. The annual awards recognise and reward excellence in sustainable energy in large and small business, communities, research, buildings, renewables and the public sector. We will announce the Winners in the coming weeks at a very special online broadcast event. Some of our finalists include Danone Wexford, SOLA Energy Solutions, Glasport Bio, Ervia Business Services, Energia and Astellas.

IEA Technology Collaboration - Call now open

The SEAI IEA TCP Task Appointment Call is open for applications.

Successful applicants to the call will participate in a research network that has 6,000 academics, researchers, policy makers and industry representatives, from nearly 300 public and private organisations, located in 55 countries from across the globe. The collaborations are focused on identifying optimal pathways for future energy systems and on developing new and improved technologies, processes and policies to deliver these.

Accenture has been positioned as a Leader in blockchain capabilities by the IDC MarketScape.

The report IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Blockchain Services 2020 Vendor Assessment is the first IDC MarketScape assessment of vendors providing professional services supporting blockchain technologies.

North West Regional Energy Strategy

The North West Strategic Growth Partnership - set up in 2016 under the North South Ministerial Council – has developed a draft North West Regional Energy Strategy and Roadmap. Derry City and Strabane District Council and Donegal County Councils jointly developed the strategy as part of their Climate Action plans, and aim to drive reductions in energy use throughout the region, encourage the growth of renewable energy, and a reduction in carbon emissions.
