The well-known Smart Grids Week Austria has been implemented by the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology and Climate and Energy Funds together with cooperation partners from the energy industry and industry for more than 10 years, making it one of the most traditional and renowned experts in the energy and technology community. In fact, the event format has already grown beyond itself and is increasingly concerned with the design of a future-oriented and infrastructure-spanning energy system. The new title "Smart Energy Systems Week Austria - SESWA" is to be taken into account.
At the center of Smart Energy Systems Week Austria are the system integration of energy technologies and the flexibility of the energy system. The event focuses on the areas of innovation, research and technology development in the socio-economic and socio-cultural context. Energy subsystems and infrastructures (networks, buildings, traffic systems, etc.) and their interplay (network, building to grid, vehicle to grid etc.) are considered. Aspects of the institutional framework for innovation and market transfer should also be addressed.
This year's conference will be designed in a new format with 1 to 2 days of accompanying workshops and 3 ½ days of a specialist conference with comprehensive thematic complexes.
